Brian Kukan started practicing Reiki in 2007 and has since obtained Reiki Master certifications in Living Light Reiki and Karuna Reiki, a Shinpiden level certification through Komyo Reiki Kai under Hyakutan Inamoto, and is a Shihan-Kaku (Assistant Teacher) with the Jikiden Reiki Kenyukai (Research Institute) studying under Frank Arjava Petter. He also is a certified Hypnotist and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. Brian was a high school math teacher for 13 years before leaving the profession to pursue his career in the healing arts. With his background in math education Brian employs a unique blend of scientific reasoning with spirituality making Reiki accessible to even the most skeptical of people.

In 2013 Brian was guided to start offering Reiki sessions at weSPARK Cancer Support Center in Sherman Oaks, CA for cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers which then connected him to also start working with Tower Cancer Research Foundation in Beverly Hills, CA. He now provides individual Reiki treatments weekly for each center as well as hosting monthly Reiki Circles for their guests. Since 2013 he has provided thousands of Reiki treatments in the cancer community and has taught workshops on Reiki, Numerology, and Hypnosis at both locations.

In 2016 Brian founded Kukan Reiki Kai and currently teaches Jikiden Reiki Shoden (Level 1) Classes, offers Reiki treatments and Numerology Readings, hosts a monthly Reiki Practitioner Meetup in North Hollywood, and teaches Numerology workshops.
