Jikiden Reiki® is the original teaching of Reiki preserved in its authentic tradition in Japan and free from Western and New Age influence. Jikiden Reiki is open to anyone new to Reiki as well as seasoned Reiki Practitioners wanting to deepen their level of understanding of the original practice.

 Shoden (Level 1) Curriculum: No Pre-requisite

·      The objectives of Jikiden Reiki Kenkyukai (Institute)

·      The history of Reiki in Japan and of Jikiden Reiki

·      The meaning of the Gokai – The Reiki Principles in Japanese

·      Shizen Joka Ryoku – the body’s natural cleansing system

·      Understanding and working with Byosen – areas of accumulated toxins

·      Gyoshi and Koki - First Aid Techniques

·      The history, meaning, and use of the first Shirushi – symbol

·      Ketsueki Kokan Ho – Blood Circulation Technique

·      Hatsurei Ho – Meditation technique to strengthen connection to Reiki

·      Three Traditional Japanese Reiju

 At the end of the course you will receive accreditation by the Jikiden Reiki Kenyukai in Kyoto, Japan with a certificate printed in English. Certificates in Japanese will be sent directly from the Institute upon notice of completion of training.
