Happy Groundhog Day!
It might not be a happy day for those that follow Punxsutawney Phil's annual prediction on the transition from winter to spring. He saw his shadow which is supposed to mean that winter will last for 6 more weeks, and with the uptick in the price of natural gas, I'm not looking forward to my heating bill.
Whether his prediction is true or not is not for me to dispute, but what I would like to share is that even if we are supposed to have six more weeks of cold winter weather, we need to be mindful to keep the warmth in our hearts.
We might not always know what is going on in someone else's life so if someone lashes out consider that they might be going through something and could use a little warmth in their heart.
Not always the easiest, I know, and so I'm writing this as much as a reminder for me as it is for you.
Wishing a strong warmth in your heart of these next 6 weeks of winter (according to a Pennsylvania groundhog).
