This month is a little light on events and offerings from yours truly because I am about to enter competition season. No, not Reiki competition, silly.
Aside from my Reiki practice I am also a musician and have been playing bass for a high school show choir for many years, and the first few months of the year are typically packed with rehearsals and competitions. Therefore, I won't have a lot of classes or events scheduled until April when I have my next Jikiden Reiki Shoden Class scheduled (register here).
However, I do have a unique event of which I will be a part at the end of the month that you might want to check out.
A friend and fellow Reiki Practitioner Stefanie Elkins has been hosting an event called Death Over Drafts, and I will be joining in the conversation at the next happy hour on Wednesday February 23rd.
Stefanie has been working as an Eldercare Coach & Consultant and Aging Life Care Manager® for years and is gifted in holding space in conversations around end of life care and grief. This will be a wonderful experience for all who attend.
I have been open with some of my experiences and viewpoints around death in previous blog articles (here and here), and I am honored to open up more around my work in the cancer community and my experiences with patients and family members that have transitioned.
For more information and to RSVP for the event, click here and join us for a spirited conversation.
Until next time, be well everyone.
Love,
Brian
